The Rhino Lined formed plates are nice to reduce fragmentation of the Rounds on impact of the hard steel. I picked these up for about $145 delivered.

AR500 Body Armor
If you are looking for body armor but your on a budget. Check out the website below, they offer AR500 body armor for a really good price. These armor plates are rated at III and will fit in most plate carriers. The only down side is they are pretty heavy, I would guess about 7lbs each.
